Michigan League (Hussey Room) - 911 N University Ave

Sponsored by: Graham Environmental Sustainability Institute, CILER, EEB/LSA, EHS/SPH, CEE/CoE

The purpose of this meeting is for U-M faculty to learn about, and discuss, research needs and funding opportunities related to water. Freshwater Systems is one of three priority research themes for University of Michigan, and the Sustainable Waters Initiative is part of a university-wide initiative to leverage our multidisciplinary research strengths and institutional capabilities in this important area. There are extraordinary opportunities available for interdisciplinary, solutions-focused research related to water, and this meeting promises to be a valuable catalyst for such activity. Registration is required. Wine-and-cheese reception follows. For more information and to register, please visit http://www.graham.umich.edu/e-mails/water-research.html.
